Update of Resolution

No, samples today since I am under the weather. I may have the flu, which really bums me since I had the flu shot. Wanted to update everyone on my progress with the New Year's Resolution. First I have lost a few pounds not much be better than nothing. Then my first class for my next part to the designation is on Tuesday, I am on my way. Yeah. Just wanted to let everyone know that I am still trying to finish my resolution before the end of this year. Anyone wanting to share their progress please post to this posting. I hope everyone achieves their goals this year.

Last Love One - Two Step Stamping

This is the last one I am going to make before the big day. This one has a dual purpose one is to finish a swap I am in and the other is a card for my sweetie. I used the two step stamping for the lighter heart. I really forget to use this technique, but it is so easy and fast and gives a great effect. Then I used the crop-a-dile for the large eyelets on the bottom.

Melinda's Card

My dear friend Melinda sent me this link to a beautiful card by MJ Albright and she admired the beauty of all the elements. I teased her and said that it must have taken 2 hours to make that card and I just do not have that kind of time to invest to make one card. Well, I took the basic sketch and duplicated it basically, I did dropped a few of the shadowing on the edges of each layer and a few other steps and it still took me way too long to create. LOL. Well, this card is going to Melinda to let her know that I appreciate all the ideas and challenges she throws at me!

Spotlight Card

I made this spotlight card with a new set called Spring Dream. I just love the swirls it reminds me of blowing winds like the story from Winnie the Pooh it was a bluster day. I still read that story to my kids. I love the hidden humor in those stories.

Acetate Window Card

Here it is from the front.

Okay, I have made a deal with myself, haha. This deal includes using supplies that I have on hand and not purchase more design paper. I have more than I care to admit. When I was at the store the other day, I seriously thought about getting another 12X12 paper keeper. Then I asked myself where will you put it? That made up my mind, use as much as I can to free up space for some new stuff. LOL!

I really have good intentions when I purchase this paper. Like the one shown here was going to be a scrapbook page of my daughter blowing bubbles in the back yard. Well that picture was taken when she was 4, she is now 7. So for all my good intentions I have more paper then I think I could ever use.

Here it is Open.....
