Nugget Purse

Nugget Purses are easy and quick. First cut a strip of cardstock 1 1/2 X 4 1/2 inches long then using a Mega shipping tag punch just the end. Then score at 1 1/4, 2 1/4, 3 1/2 & 3 3/4. Finally add ribbon for a handle and assemble.

Never to late

It is my Philosophy that it is never to late to scrap old photos. These are from Halloween 2006, John wanted to be a pirate. They really do not make a pirates costume for a two year old, so I did the next best thing got some accessories and made do. LOL. When I saw the new playful pirates set from the Angel Company I just knew that I had to have it for these photos. The set includes a crown and other images but the one that sold me was the cross bones. I really enjoyed playing with this last night, I think I will continue creating with this set. I just think it is too cute.

The Magic of Imagination

I was out all night scrapping and here is one of the pages that I finished. The journal section is done with the scor-pal and I embossed the lines on the back, then turned it over and ran an ink pad over it to keep my lines visible. I think the paper is bo-bunny, it matched well with the photos so it was a must.

The picture is of my kids at The Magic House a children's museum, it is am much fun for me as them. LOL Every corner is filled with adventure, and they are expanding it so it will be double the size by August. Yeah! double the fun.

Celebrate!

Several people were asking me to explain the celebrate promotion. So here goes, you get the double the gift with purchase stamps, and depending on the size of you order you may qualify for double the hostess sets and half off items. If you were to have a $100 order (before tax & shiping) then you would qualify for a free catalog, 6 GWP stamp sets, 2 Level A hostess sets, and 2 half off items. WOW! I love this promotion, I will answer any questions that you want just let me know. Just think you could do a catalog party and earn the hostess set that you have had your eye on...

Red or what?

Not sure what is up with all the red, but that's what I seem to be creating with lately. I am going to make myself choose another color for my next card. This one is going to a dear friend that is always there for me and constantly surprises me with her generosity. She has been like a surrogate mother to me, and I can not thank her enough. So if you have not figured out this one is for Carole.

Another Resolution Update

I have finished another class, now I only have two more to go. I think I can get this before the end of the year. Yeah! I have another class schedule for April 8, and then we will be leaving for vacation on the 26th. That will be a very busy month for me, I seem to like to make my self crazy. I always think I can handle it all and then it get very overwhelming. The vacation thing is already in my mind since the last time we went on a family vacation is when we lost my mom. I am really worried and all that, I know just put it out of my mind.

On a lighter note we are going to sunny Vail, CO for a week. This will be the first vacation that I do not have all the activities planned out, it is more for resting the soul. Hubby is in desperate need for some down time. Which we will all get if everything goes as planned. LOL which seldom ever happens. Well, hopefully I can get some stamping done this weekend and share more soon.

Hugs, Maria

Swing Card

This swing card is extra easy and has great results. I used my tonic cutter and scorer for easy measuring and cutting. I know that you can also use the square coluzzle and it gets done fast. The hardest thing is coordinating everything.

Flip Flap Card

This is a flip flap card, very cool technique. This one is from the Technique Junkie Newsletter. Which is so worth the money.

Hope everyone have had a great couple of weeks since my last post. It has been crazy here, Sunday we had 60 degrees and today we got 12 inches of snow. Wow, what they say about the weather in St. Louis is right (If you do not like the weather just wait a while it will change).

They driveway and walkway are sholved thanks to a little me mostly darling Hubby. He is really the bestest!!! Well, stay warm.
