Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We had wonderful time at home with a small group of family. It was wonderful. I am glad it is done since it is sooooo much work! But this still rains supreme as my favorite holiday.
This card is one of the cards that I sent this year. The original design is from Lori Betterly (an awesome Angel). I changed it a little added the swirl leaves, but the sketch and design is hers.
All products and stamps are the Angel Co.

This sketch is mine. Of course I do not like it now. LOL! But that is really how it goes for me. I do a project, sketch, page or card then I hate it.
Oh, well this is done using the ribbon as a tie closure. I have the scallop punches in almost every size as you can see. The stamp set is Butterfly Bits and Seeds of Blessing.

If you would like to join in the fun, please make your card or papercraft and either send it to me referencing TT112508 or post it on your blog and send us the link via our comments. We'd love to see them!

Card to Crop WINNER!

Yes, you heard it right, this is the Card to Corp winner for the Angel Company. This is an older photo of my daughter but I still love it. It screams fall to me, she still loves to play in the leaf piles. Just this morning she asked if we could rake up the leaves in the front yard and play on Saturday. Little does she realize that this is mom's way of getting the front yard raked. haha...

I am still floating, I have to find out the details of the contest. I believe that I get $75. worth of free stamps. Yeah!

To see the card better you will have to click on the picture. All images, cardstock, patterned paper are from The Angel Company. The bestest, stamp company.

Fall is offical here and gone, or so it seems. I love fall and it does seem like this year it was shorter than ever.
This weeks template comes from Angie. I think it is pretty with out anything. LOL! Of course pink is my favorite color so she could not have gone wrong with this one. I love the layout, lines simple and clean.

My card is the start of trying to figure out what I want to do for Thanksgiving cards. I am so late this year. I think that I need to get my butt in gear.

This is the Angel company's stamp set of the month for October. Love the leaves it has several good sayings too! Sorry, if you missed this one. Of course you could check out Novembers stamp of the month. To see if you are interested:
Let me know there are great incentives going on which give you double rewards.

Update on Puppy

Okay, so here is the scoop on the new puppy. We picked him up just one short week ago. He was 8 weeks old and 17 pounds. Well, he had his check up and he is 9 weeks old and 21 pounds. Can you believe it he gained four pounds in week?
In this picture we have placed Clifford's collar on Junior. My husband has says that he has some but shoes to fill. :o)
We miss our Clifford, but having Junior has helped heal our hearts.
He looks like dumbo with his jumbo ears.

Newest Addition

His name is Junior, and he is a real hillbilly. Or so that is what I think, he is just an old soul.

He is just 8 weeks old, and he weighs about 17 pounds. In the next few months he will be growing by leaps and bounds. I will update with pictures showing his growth.

He is a Old English Mastiff and we got him from MTC Mastiffs in Arkansas. Which we drove down on Friday night and stayed over and picked him up on Saturday.

I have to say for a puppy he does really well with letting us know that he needs to go out. These dogs are great family dogs, and they do well as inside dogs.

I just love the sweety.

Christmas Stamp a Stack Card 4

Here is another card done with the same set from our Christmas stamp a stack. This design was created by Vickie Todd, she used the Versamark Resist with the Fruitcake spectrum ink pad. I really enjoyed making this one with the brayer and the spectrum pad. I love that these two cards are so different but the same.

Christmas Stamp a Stack Card 3

This past Saturday was the Christmas stamp a stack. We made 4 card designs 5 each for a total of 20 cards.

I am not sure if you can tell but I used iridescent embossing powder and stamped the holly swirlies. I love this new set, the tis the season is included in this set. I punched the flower out of the Reece smic, then punched two holes in it to make like a button.
