Hang in there

This is how I feel most of the time lately. Although 2010 has started to look better, it is still a slow process. I adore the More Mimi double sided cardstock. This papers are just so chic and pretty. I used the Wonder and Joy set and the Fabulous Fall set. It just shows you that even a seasonal stamp set can be used off season.

My darling hubby helped me with the card sketch. Which I have to say I really like a lot.

Please tell me what you think?

Tuesday Template 01-12-10

Ami's sketch was a little scary at first then, I thought I can do this. So, I pulled several of my favorite stamp sets out and started to play around with what would work......

Of course I am still in the hearts mode. So I will be subjecting you to yet another card made with the i heart you set. This set has won my heart can you tell?? This is not one of the card samples that would be included in the card kit, just call this one a bonus. I also used the Rustic Chic Paper which I love the colors and patterns on this page.

Hope you enjoy it too!

Sweet Husband

Well, I told my sweet husband about this wonderful holder one of my customers/friends had that held all of your stickles. He acted mildly interested as I went on and on about how much I would love to have such a thing. He asked me what stickles was, which made me nearly faint. LOL!

So, what do I find as a Christmas gift from my dear hubby. Well, of course a stickles holder! It could not be just out of any piece of wood, he made it out of purple heart. Which according to him (the woodworker) is a very hard wood and not easy use. I of course can not say enough good things about this fabulous piece that he made me.

If you click on the picture you can tell the wood has a purple hue.

Christmas Morning

This is Christmas morning, I could not wake up my son. LOL! He actually crawled into bed with me and hubby around 4 am. But as you can see he was still fast asleep when it was time to open presents. I adore my guys can you tell that hubby stayed up way too late?
The only one missing is my girl who is still fast asleep in her own bed. I can not imagine sleeping in on Christmas where did these kids come from?.I mean is it me or aren't most kids up at the crack of dawn?
Here she is finally after I have been bugging them all for about 30 mins. My blessings are many.

Organize, Organize, Organize

My first goal is to get more Organized for the New Year. I am tackling that a little at a time. I have been working on my office/art studio. There is a lot to do but I have finished a lot too! I got rid of a whole box of old paperwork. Yeah for me! I am hoping that each of you accomplish your goals.

Here are some little gift card holders I included with the gifts that we gave to the kids teachers for Christmas. I hope that this helps the teachers keep there gift cards organized.

If you would like to find out how to make one the class will be held soon, so contact me about the time and location.
