Card 5

I tried my hand incorporating all the washi tape on this one. It was fun to random choose ones to use that I did not have to worry would not work with the message. I felt like my bicycle, should get center stage so I did not age or distress it to much.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. - Josh 1:9

I have to constently remind myself that I can be encouraged by the word, it can lift me up, if I let it. That is a strong message for me to learn, and to take to heart.

Card 4

Card 4 was to be a canvas heart, I did the canvas as a backdrop to my paper heart. I really did not want to leave a message off so I choose, Remember Grace. This has a special meaning to me since Grace means Mercy and Peace to me. This is the path that I want to take and continue to grow.

Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home. - John Newton "Amazing Grace"

Card 3

I tried to follow the directions on this card, but it was a fail. I used glitter on the heart then decoupaged over it. Well, it turned out really muted, so I added a layer of stickles over it and it finally glittered. So things were covered over since I did not like them.

always believe.... this means to me, have courage always believe in yourself because .....I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Phil 4:13

Card 2

Card 2 - do what you love
Another week's card, this one made me stop and think. Have you ever had the opportunity to do what you love? I don't often stop and think about this subject. Often the pressure of day to day life makes it difficult.

There is so much to love in this world. There were so many things that I love that I started a list. I am sure that it will grow as I discover more things. But for now it is a start. I am keeping the back side of these cards to journal those personal things to reflect on in the future.
